At the training
you learn to fly in thermals and mountains,
you improve your turns and circulation,
you learn to "read" the sky and terrain,
you learn flight techniques in turbulent air,
you develop decision-making skills,
you fly more calmly, longer and with greater control.
What does the training look like?
The training takes the form of a four-day trip to Italy, focused primarily on practical flying experience.
Each day begins with a morning briefing, where weather conditions and the plan for the day are discussed.
Flights take place under the constant supervision of an instructor, who either flies alongside the pilots or guides them via radio. After each flight, a short debrief and analysis is conducted.
During the day, participants complete at least two flights, depending on weather conditions and group performance.
The program is flexible and adapted to both conditions and participants’ skill levels.
The aim of the trip is to make the most of flyable conditions, build flight time, and steadily improve flying skills in real mountain environments.
